Russian Learn&Play "Pochemuchka"

This class for 3-4 years old children. 

  Small group instruction allows teachers the opportunity to identify and address the individual needs of each child. Children will develop positive self-esteem and important social skills such as cooperative problem-solving, following directions, and respect for others.

  We expose the children to basic Russian language skills such as writting, visual, verbal, and physical activities involving the alphabet and early literacy skills. Our curriculum consists of Russian language speech development, vocabulary expansion, preparation for reading and writing, arts and crafts, songs and games, Russian language, mathematics, and cultural activities.  

  Children will be able to experience the fun and getting active!

 The goal of the program:

- improvement and development of Russian language, articulatory motor skills, correct pronunciation of sounds, development of auditory attention, development of passive and active vocabulary, formation of grammatical categories, development of coherent speech in young children.

   We expand the vocabulary of the Russian language. We develop the ability to distinguish and name essential details and parts of objects through games and visual materials: Parts of objects Parts of the body Parts of a tree Parts of the face Parts of a car (for example: a dress has sleeves, a collar, pockets, buttons) 

We study the qualities of objects and opposite meanings for the child's cognitive activity like:

Hot/cold

Big/small

Long/short

Close/far

Low/high

Kind/angry

Soft/hard etc.

We study the sound culture of speech. We study letters and sounds; We develop the correct speech tempo (we learn tongue twisters); We develop the ability to clearly pronounce words and short phrases, speak calmly, with natural intonations (we learn poems). We develop speech motor skills. We develop the ability to clearly pronounce words and short phrases, speak calmly, with natural intonations.

  We continue to reinforce children’s ability to answer the questions when looking at objects, pictures, and illustrations;

  We develop the ability to repeat after the teacher a story of 3-4 sentences about a toy or the content of a picture;

  We create a developing speech environment:

o Help children communicate with each other in a friendly manner in Russian.

o Inspire children to share their impressions with other children, the teacher and parents.

o Encourage the desire to ask questions.

We also learn to draw, sculpt, build, put together puzzles, and be friends with glue and scissors.
